I have some custom symbols from over the years in a SP drawing.
I can see them in the drawing library.
They are not in the system library.
Is there a way to import symbols from the drawing library to the system library?

Tom, here it is in the Help Menu.

The "One Step button" is only available when you open the "System Library". Not the "Drawing Library" as SP Help describes.
Opening the "System Library" clicking on the "One Step"button only give you the "Draw Box" option.
Now what?

Here is one from a Drawing that Randy Cohn had sent me years ago. The only thing is you don't have control of the folder where in the System Library it's added.

I just tried it within the System Library do the One Step and Draw a box around the symbol you want to add, it will add it to the folder you selected prior to selecting One Step. I thought you had to explode the symbol before you could add it. I learned something new today.
The attachment I posted first doesn't make any since after I tried it.

Thanks for trying Richard, but none of those options do what I am trying to do.
It would be real easy to just copy the .spy file from the drawing file except you can't do that.
I assume it referencing a previous instal I have since removed, which sound impossible if it's removed.
When I try "System Library do the One Step and Draw a box around the symbol" I get "
Would love to know how to get the .spy file out of the old drawing so I can just copy it to the appropriate directory in the install folder tree.

This method does works with a little creativity.
One at a time I was able to use "Add Symbol" method, then with two file explorer windows open, one with "spy" file in search sorted by date modified, move it to the other (my prefered folder in current SP install).

Click on One Step then Draw a box around the symbol on your drawing screen. See if that works. Maybe you didn't draw a big enough box around the symbol.

Did that. "referencing a previous instal I have since removed" see image in post above: Posted Today, 12:53 PM.
Anyway the Posted Today, 01:05 PM was way faster. I was able to do 40 plus symbols in less than 30 minutes.

Glad that worked. I wish that method they would let you pick a folder to put it in.
Mark Petri showed me the ADD button.
