the paint isn't adjusting horizontally properly.  anyone else have the problem with the offset not giving the correct distance?  this isnt working correctly on vertical siding properly either.

I usually have to keep fooling around with this by adjusting the offset and then right-clicking the the paint to "regenerate".  After that it seems to "hold in place".   Perhaps I have never fully grasped this offset feature, but it has always been a little clunky for me on vertical paint patterns.

It would be super nice if we could not only do those adjustments, but also use the align tool, set which side it starts from, and an offset adjustment from that side. We have all those tools elsewhere, SP could combine and make paint and textures way more accurate and useful if we had them in those features.

Sometimes I have to reset the paint to 0 on the offsets and then go make my adjustments.  I think things get lost in memory occasionally.

Ok thanks folks, appears to be inconsistencies in this function.  I've submitted ticket #56975 for them to analyze.
