planting border curved board on sloped site

create a curved solid 3d polygon

by first drawing a curved arc the shape you want.

than use /  tools / offset and offset the one arc a distance

to represent the thickness of a board that you can bend
.

than connect the arcs at both end with SNAP activated

with a line at each end.

now go to EDIT / form solid polygon

and left click each of the lines and arcs > they'll highlight after you click on them.

now right click on each of the 3d polygons and give them a "height".

now open "ONLY" the curved 3d polygon in softview.

export it into a 3d symbols folder of choice (tip: many create a NEW folder with their name on it)

now go thru the "symbol wizard" and locate your curved 3d polygon and give it a name.

btw.  while your going thru the motions of the symbols wizard,  you'll come upon

a place where you give the symbol some OPTIONS

on this page,

there's ELEVATION:  reference it to GROUND

under OPTIONS:  check "allow reverse" and "slopes with reference"

the slopes with reference is what make it slope to any grade it's on.

when you put this symbol on your site, make sure the "slopes with reference" is checked.  see illustration below.

btw, you can edit and "OFFSET" the symbol so you can see as much of the symbols height or

as little of it's height as you want.

note:  you can also add a planting bed of earth in site mode
