See attached. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? I have tried multiple methods from trying to delete it, deleting roof, removing and adding louver, deleting and redrawing wall, and a few other things. Anyway what is it and how do I fix it? It looks like some kindof brick texture. Anyway, I need to fix it to finish the drawings.... I didn't have the issue until I reversed the plans.

Check if somehow the vent is set to offset or if there is a hidden beam/wall it is referencing??

I had something like that happen once but I don't remember how I fixed it. It was like the vent had a jamb made out of adobe brick. That's what this one looks like too.

I think I found a work around.... The problem has something to do with the louver being generated by the roof gable but in an extended wall... "Fit to roof" and not a wall created or provide by the gable.... Through some trial and error I was able to get rid of the floating object. This is how I did it... The order matters. 1. I added back the gable provided by gable and ran cleanup. The object disappears. 2. Edit original wall and disable cleanup. 3.  Turn off gable wall provide by roof.

Apparently it's not a best practice to use the gable vent provided by bale roof if you don't intend to use the gable wall as well. Or at least this is my assumption.

I hope this helps somebody.

Nevermind.... That didnt persist. Eventually the wrap showed back up.... SO armed with the info above I just drew the louver in as an opening and not provided by roof.... Problem fixed.

UPDATE: Reached to out to support on this issue. The problem was that the roof was generated on the third floor and the extended wall was a 2nd floor wall. when I moved the roof to the second floor it fixed it.
