Hello everyone.  I'm trying to add a small section of roof/dormer over the garage door area and I cannot figure out how.  Any suggections?

Draw beams above the door, then add the roof.

i'm trying to add the dormer area between the center garage door and the barn door above it.  Sorry for the confussion.

Not really a dormer- it's a shed roof over the garage door. Henry has you going in the right direction

If an active dormer and you've got upper living space, i'd add walls in the upper and pitch the bottoms of the walls to sit atop the spread truss girders.  (fairly time consuming but looks proper)

 

This is an old gambrel barn the customer will convert into a home.
