I am sure there is a simple answer to this but I have searched tutorials as well as 2022 Help with no success.

I do understand that I can save a 3d view as an image and add that to a plans set. No issue there. I am just wondering why the saved images don't show up in the navigation window under "Saved 3D Views" so they are easier to access. Some of the tutorials a watched from SP, had saved images there.

No, you're right, IMAGES don't show up in the navigation window.

However, why add that step? Why not just add the 3D VIEW (which DO show up in the navigation window) into the planset instead. That way they are always adjustable and editable the same as the model itself.

And, if you save a 3D view as a picture, you can choose where to save it. Then, you can add it in if you do not want the updated (live view) rendering Keith is talking about. I use Keith's method most of the time (especially in plan sets).
