Any way to turn off the shadow when moving text, dimensions, window doors etc?

When you move an item you can see a greyed out image behind. Kind of confusing in most instances.

Thanks again. Much appreciate the feedback from upgrading from version 2014

When you move an item such as notes or dimensions there is a shadow/image of what you are moving grayed out.

thx

I believe that's the 'display temporary dimensions' setting in System Options.

I don't think so. Here is a screen shot.

It's the gray outline/shadow behind the 9'-0" x 12'-0" note that I am moving.

Cheers.

I don't know of a way to shut it off.  Not always possible but if you can use "Move Block" you won't get the shadow.

It's not a shadow ... it's a ghost to show where you are moving an item from.

I don't know how to turn it off either, but in colour options, if you have a really light grey, try changing it to a lighter grey or even white ... It's possible this may affect other items though.

Softplan please take note. Please make a way to turn this off. It’s very irritating to old users such as myself.

Agreed. Especially in instances of minute moving.
