How do you take a photo of a surface and apply that as a siding (or what ever) ?  I need to apply this color & texture:

Applying it as a siding (or whatever) is simple, just add it into your Softplan \3D\Textures\Bitmaps folder in either the sub-folder of your choice or a new sub-folder.

 

HOWEVER, getting it to show anything except a set of regular patches is MUCH more difficult. To show correctly, the JPG HAS to be seamless, so you would have too spend some time editing it to cut out a section along the mortar joints and the piece it together again to form a seamless texture. The bigger the sample picture the better. The one you provided really isn't big enough to cut out what you require and still make it a seamless representation of the whole, as there's only 3 useable bricks in it. You really need too cut it along the mortar joints and reassemble it to suit.
