Good morning, just started using Softplan and have a few questions.

How can you make a Garage Door Flush with exterior wall, not recessed.

And also is there a way to change ONE wall only to a different texture with out having to create another wall and redraw.

The last for the moment, How do I upload a new texture into Softplan, Is there a step by step guide I can use.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the door. Try editing the frame offset. I have to ask, How is the actual door going to work flush? I assume it's NOT an overhead door.

No, every material can only have one texture per drawing. However, it's easy to create a new wall ... EDIT wall > Go to DEFINITION, SAVE AS (a new wall) and change the surface material to any other suitable material. for example SIDING A to SIDING B. At a simple level, no other changes are required.

You can use anything as a texture as long as it is in the Softplan (whatever yours is called)\3D\Textures\Bitmaps directory or a sub-directory contained within that directory.

There are 10 types of people in this world ....... Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
