I'm adding floor joist inside a room that already has the foundation, slab, walls and roof. I'm wanting to put in floor joist to raise the floor. Each time I put in the set, it automatically put the set on the edge of the slab where the walls are. I try adjusting the edges, but that doesn't work on all the sides. I tried turning off the snap function, but the joists reset to the edge on cleanup.

There has to be an easy fix for this. Can someone help me?

FLOOR SYSTEM HELP.jpg

It needs to be set before drawing the floor system.

When in floor system mode, do the following:

-Floor System Options(in the ribbon)

    - Select "Inside of Innermost Bearing" (second group from the bottom on the right)

    - As implied, it will work best if the component of the wall that you want to snap the floor system to is marked as "bearing" in the wall definition.
