I find it awkward to change a quanity on the list.     Gotta click and then delete or move and then type in quanity.

 

Maybe there's a better way, I'm not doing,    buit would like to hit change and run

I agree. As far as I'm concerned, when you double click on a quantity in a SoftList report, it should default to the "Fixed Quantity" radio button and the focus should be in the value box to the right of the radio button. It would make editing quantities aaot easier.
