I have Softplan ver. 2022, and have been trying to show Hardie Shingles on the walls. I did se an old post about this and Keith had a link to upload a material file, but the link didn’t provide a result. Does anyone have a good soulution to this?

Their shingles look just like everyone else's and are represented well by the different paint options or 3d materials that we have. Is there something out of the ordinary you are looking for Kevin?

If you are a plus subscriber, there are LP and a few others which look the same.

Allura, Cedar Creek and Certainteed all have great textures available.

Have you tried just doing a google image search for "James Hardie Sidewall shingles"? I see a bunch of decent images from various sites.

Edit: I see that though they may look good, they don't create very nice repeatable patterns.

We do 90% of our homes in Hardie, why doesn't SoftPlan make this company's lineup available out of the box?

Maybe Hardie don't provide seamless tiling patterns to Softplan!

Thank you all for your input, much appreciated! I did get an email from Claude Poirier. He had generously offered to share some James Hardie siding and trim colors, along with directions to file them within Softplan. It only took moments for me to change one of my current projects into a much nicer presentation.
