Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to insert the north arrow into a title block so it rotates with north on on the drawing.

I'd like to avoid having to manually move it into position on the drawing.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Right click on the North symbol, then click on the Definition and put a check mark "Always Face North. I always click on the common tab and uncheck extract in Model.

Thanks Richard,

The north arrow direction works when I do that on the actual drawing.

But I'd like to have my north arrow in my title block template automatically rotate.

Another option is to make a separate drawing for the north arrow alone and place it on the plane set page manually.

I always put on the site plan, that’s a good idea putting it on a separate drawing.

Thanks Richard,

So did I, recently I decided to try and put it on all the layouts for a little more context when looking at the drawings.

I use a base drawing for information in the title block that I want to be able to edit on the fly. So, it basically is a base sheet that goes on all plan set pages and meshes with spaces in the title block.
