I loaded SP 2024 and when I opened a SPF that was created in 2022, I lost all dimensioning, charts, notes, etc.  Now it says I can't go back and open it with a prior version.

UUUGGGHHH.   I have been a user for decades and never had this happen on an upgrade.   Any thoughts????

"VERSION" was the intended word for the subject!

I would make sure any building option, layer, system options, drawing options or anything else that could affect visibility of items of the 2024 drawing is turned on.  As a side note, you might want to get a good backup program that keeps your previous files available so if you ever have to go back and find a file you can.  It has helped me an endless number of times even finding stuff from years back.  Good luck with recovering your data!!!!

You can see this behavior if you don’t reboot after the installation, per the instructions.

When starting with a new version I make a Project 2024 folder and copy projects from 2022 as needed so if something screws up the Project I can always go back to the original 2022 Project. I've done this with all of the previous upgrades.

Just my 2 cents

Rick
