Any thoughts on how to do a gable that follows scissor trusses? (version 2012)

Here I simply used a 3rd party program but cant get the shingle texture to follow the gable?

Draw it with walls.  Needs to be 2 walls that meet at the center.  Fit top of wall to roof then adjust right and left bottom of wall to fit the ceiling.  A little time consuming, but it works well

I'm not sure you could slope the bottom of the wall in V12

I was going to give the same answer, but like Henry, am not sure you could slope the bottom of walls in V2012.

 

You could generate an elevation, draw the section of wall shape you need, create it as a symbol, and rotate it to suit in the symbol wizard. Add it to the plan, adjust height and add texture. Very convoluted and time consuming, but i remember doing just that back in the day.
