Sure, I've read their minimum computer/setup requirements.... but what exactly works for SoftPlan 2024?  SP says to "future-proof it as best I can to avoid having to make upgrades to it in the near future."  I suppose that's sound advice, but I need to keep costs as low as possible, and all the computer lingo is foreign to me. So... what really works? What setups are people using (without cliches)? 

My old laptop just broke this week so I'm looking at the HP Envy 17t-da000  in the 17.3 inch size.   The better graphics card is a must if ya wanna take advantage of the DirectX 12.
