I can not for the life of me find where to turn off auto electrical placement when naming rooms... Apparently that setting didn't transfer from my saved settings going from 2022 > 2024

You have to do that for every room every time though. Somewhere there's a setting to turn it off completely.

I think you can change it in System, Project and Drawing Options

Go to System Library then edit each room and uncheck what you don’t want.

You can select an entire column in a table and apply the change to the whole column.

 

If you want to turn off electrical outlets for all rooms in your library: 

File->system options->system Library->Rooms -> Edit Symbol

Scroll right to see Outlets.  click on the outlets word.  That selects the whole column.  Click on one of the selected outlets to toggle it off.  All outlets for all room symbols will be toggled off.  Hit ok to commit the change.
