How do I create a foundation plan and a A roof on a garage?

If a thickened slab foundation you can use floor mode in the garage drawing. For the roof use the roof mode. For each mode and your drawing, project, or system level settings you can pre-set how you want the parts to model/frame. Or you can make changes once drawn. Taking time to learn the process of how SoftPlan works on a garage design is a good place to start.
