Make sure the floor is in the correct place, then edit the wall and check COVER FLOOR

If a majority of the segment of wall is not over a floor system it will sometimes misbehave as well. Check that and cut the wall into 2 if needed. Otherwise, grab your exterior wall finish and create a wall just out of that and adjust offsets and height and place accordingly if needed.

Two story dwelling. In error placed ceiling joists on the 1st floor drawing. First story ceiling joists are formed with th 2nd story floor joists of the 2nd floor. Corrected drawings and issue is resolved. Thanks for all input.

The second floor should have a floor system comprised of a ring joist, Joists, and subfloor. That serves as the ceiling structure for the first floor. The first floor should not have ceiling joists anywhere that there is a second floor above. The wall on the second floor then covers the floor system for the second floor.
