So I'm kinda stuck on something and could use some help. The 3rd story of this house is actually finished attic space between kneewalls. The top platform is the same as the other two (14" w.i. floors) with a plate around the perimeter to receive the rafter heels. I have three issues; 1) how do I cover the floor system on the exterior (sheathing and siding), and 2) the only way I could get the siding corners to align on the gable end walls was to incrementally nudge them in the 3D tab. This then created a depression on either side of the platform, back to the ring joist, and 3) why is the fascia framing showing thru the trim at the fascias/rakes?

 Thank you all!

Rather than using a plate for the rafters select a 2x4 w siding wall and edit the height to 1 1/2".

This will cover the floor system with siding.

If material list is important then create a new wall which is plate with siding.
