Hey guys, wanted to see if anyone has a good looking way to achieve this in 3D... I haven't found a great way to render this on my presentations.

If you're just using it for rendering, you could try using a crown molding. Softplan will allow you to put it in on the exterior of the wall and from there you just play with the offset, height, and depth to achieve the look you're after. It might get you close.
