Hello Fellow Softplan+ Users!

 

I have learned a lot through the forum and various other resources, but hadn't seen much on this topic and we're seeking to streamline our 3D from key to key.

 

Right now for symbols and textures we individually download and set them up in our libraries on our respective C drives/devices. Is there a way to direct our Softplan to read from a shared cloud file so that we all have access to the same additions in textures and symbols?

 

Thank you for any insight you're able to provide on this subject!

I have my symbols, 3d symbols, and most of my SP resources on OneDrive. It works quite well. There are some times when I open up the symbol dialog that it takes a little longer to load the 3d or the list of symbols, but I have worked successfully like this for several years. I believe that there are others on here who have done more or less the same thing.

You would need to update your default folders in System Options as in the screenshot.
