Can someone point me to the correct way to add this roof area? I was able to add it using 'Roof Edges', but now can't seem to add the fascia, soffit, gutter, etc.

It would probably be better to extend the main roof over the whole of the garage door and use a hole to cut out what you don't want.

another way to do it would be to add beams (in front of the 2 story wall section) and make them both "hidden" and "not visible" in 3D.
"hidden" means it will not print and "not visible" will not show up in 3D
