Greetings,

 I feel like I'm a first time caller long time listener on Sports Radio. These forums and tutorial videos have been great to get me up to speed with the latest edition of SP for 10 years. Until now....

 

 For the military types out there... Bottom Line Up Front: I need to create elevations like this picture displayed on the SP website in SP 2018

The VA requires these as part of the veteran's SAH grant and I've been beating myself over the head trying to make it work. Can anyone provide a "go-to, do-this" set of tips or link to a video to get dimensions into an interior elevation drawing? I've tried cross sections, interior elevations, and every google link  to past versions to no avail. I know the elevations are there but the Dimensions button only has the distance between button available.... Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Once you've created an interior elevation, save it as a drawing. From that point forward you can add extensions, dimension, substitute text etc. just like any other drawing.

And if you save them with Auto-Paint on you can get the colors and texture like in the picture too (if you design it that way)

Richard, If you would like any additional help on the plans for the SAH grant

please send the files this way. I will be more than happy to do the work for N/C

if it helps one who sacrificed so much for our country obtain housing etc. moving forward.
