Copy or transfer textures and symbols from 2018 to 2020

Is there an easy way to move or copy textures and custom symbols from 2018 to 2020? I copied files and pasted them from one version to anther before without issues but this time for some reason the files will not show up in my libraries. Even new textures I add to 3d textures don't show up. Is it because maybe that this is not a full release program or am I doing something wrong? Maybe someone has a better or easier way to transfer all these files over.

Go to SP 2018 into System Options.  There you will find Backup and Restore under Archive.  Once you backup what you want go to SP 2020 and Restore those items you want transfer over.
