As a leader in our industry, we are seeking to add high quality individuals to our growing Design team. Previous advanced experience in the design of new residential custom homes is required along with proficiency with current versions of SoftPlan. Furthermore, we are specifically looking for individuals who are capable of working remotely from their home office.
Although this position will mainly support the sales team with pre-contract conceptual sales designs, applicants must be flexible, teachable and be willing to learn and adapt to our system of drafting and design that functions seamlessly from initial conceptual through final construction drawings. This position provides a great potential for personal skill growth, as well as job advancement within the team.
Potential candidates must maintain a high degree of honesty, integrity and respect in all business dealings. Be detail oriented, have good communication skills, and be able to work individually as well as in a team environment. Candidate must be self-motivated, display initiative and be professional in dealing with multiple departmental groups.
Duties included, but not limited to:
- Work closely with Sales Consultants to create unique conceptual sales designs.
- Work closely with Estimating to answer questions regarding sales drawings and non-standard options.
- Assist in the maintenance of our database of home brochures.
