I'm encountering a problem with the automatic joist labels. The auto label is very busy in tighter corridors and  custom ceilings. The text is really busy and difficult to understand. Snippet below:

I figure that I could resolve this by editing the labels directly or at minimum editing the spacing and format. I cannot find any setting allowing access besides generating a separate drawing in plain shapes. Doing so incurs a lot of busy work reformatting the text already existing. additionally, structure members have to be redrawn. Snippet below:

The framing schedules out of box also do not offer a direct solution. The trades in my area do not work off of such tables. Additionally, I don't see an option to label some and table represent others.

 

Has anyone encountered this form of issue and developed a solution?

Instead of Ceiling Framing Labels I use Ceiling Framing Id's and a Framing Schedule.
