You guys have pretty much sold me on Lumion. This is amazing. 

I have been working in Lumion for several years.....However, you'll have a huge benefit starting with the latest version L23 which is a big deal.  One of the most important parts is making sure your textures are square (see attached) in the sp model when you bring it in to lumion...this way any additional lumion textures you apply will seamlessly map.  There is also a great forum which will be very helpful.  Sp is not mainstream like revit, archicad, vectorworks, all plan and so on...so it is not technically supported by Lumion...but as you see you can get good results.  Happy learning.

Have you tried importing a softplan FBX into Twinmotion?

I have not. I export the model into a sketchup file and then import it into twin motion.

I found that the FBX file from softplan does not work very well in TM....parts of the geometry are missing or messed up.  

 

If you get can share some lumen exterior shots that would be great.
