I am doing a very simple rendering in which I have lap siding on 3 sides of the building, but B&B siding on one side. I've chosen a B&B texture from the stock texture files, but it is beige (or unfinished wood) color, and I want it blue to match the lap siding. When I've tried to change the color, the surfaces appear as flat with no textural relief. How can I change the color of that texture and maintain the depth/relief of it?

Is it possible that on your blue wall you have a profile assigned in the wall definition? And that on the front wall you do not have a profile? There are two ways that you can have a "profile" look: (1) With textures (bitmaps, jpeg's assigned in 3d mode) that have the look of the profile (2) With a profile assigned in the wall def and a solid color texture assigned.

Rt Click the surface in the 3D mode>Surface Edit>Lighting>Depth Relief & increase it.  Should do it.

I have watched and read all this and my still does the same thing. I have changed the depth relief but the siding is still so light unless you zoom right up to the siding you can not see it.

Any additional information available?

Try adjusting the Ambient and Diffuse lighting settings until you get something suitable.
