Does anyone use a master date for a set of plans and then add revision dates to the the title block for revisions? I'm wondering if there is a way to do that using plan sets?

I use the date that is Softplan sets when I print. Normally if I am saving a set of prints or printing it is because there is a change. That way I can keep track and know when a builder says his drawings are not working and when I ask and he gives me a date of 5/23/2015 I know he has not picked up the new sets
With that said that I have found that I need very little customization in my title blocks or work around
on the drawings. It is a lot easier getting help on drawings with sub contractors when they dont have to learn "my way" of how I want it to look.

If you use the @ date function, then it will always print the current date.
There are multiple fields that will accept a standard text input, in which you could easily write a standard date. Most of us do not need variable company names, so you could use the Company Name or Address fields (or any field you're not using) to add any fixed text that you require.

That is a good point Keith. You can put any information in the text field of the Project information and use that "@_____" note to have it fill. ONe company we adjusted the fax number to tell us the lot number for a subdivision on spec houses

I had brought up at an earlier date that when using the Save Revision function I wished that it would name the folder with the date which could than later be used for Information Stamps in SoftPlan on the titleblock. I actually got a reply from Support the other day that said they could change the Save Revision folder to have the date and then also put a request in to a future feature of Information Stamps that could use that. Just to update everyone.
