The new transition walls are great ...

However - yes, you knew that was coming didn't you - if you have a transition in a wall, in order for it to function properly you can't fix the height of the materials, as when you move the transition, it just moves the fixed sections up ... if you don't fix the height then you get issues with stone sills etc. when you fit the wall to a cathedral. I specifically didn't say ceiling, as I can't make a wall with a transition fit to a ceiling properly no matter what I try.

Is there a way to define the wall so that the lower materials don't try and move (slope) when they are fitted to a gable?

Mine seems to work Keith. Check the wall definition and boxes that are checked to see if that helps.

Now move the transition from 49.5" to 65" in the wall edit menu and see what happens.

Although I don't see any real difference from your menu to mine, but I will go and look at it again ... I'm gettting problems with the mid SILL trying to follow the gable angle.

Okay, apologies, I found my mistake, I unchecked fixed on the sill as well as the stone facing. Resetting fixed on the sill corrected the issue ... Thanks.

In this instance I have a high level wall with a transition, and I can't make it fit to the ceiling properly no matter what I do.
