I am having an issue with my ceiling in a kitchen remodel.  The kitchen is located in an addition on the back of a standard ranch.  The homeowner wants to have the ceiling follow the roof 3:12 and when I try to add crown on the left side, My high side, it has a strange cut that won't let me add crown.  It is happening on both walls but the opposite wall is blank.  I imported this drawing from V13, but I don't think that is my problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

I am new to V2018 but have been a longtime user.
