Anyone know how to make a custom angled arch opening like this one? Not the timber, just the angled opening? Attached File  FRONT ELEVATION ARCH.jpg   66.91KB   2 downloads

Why don't you just use a standard 4 section casement and add a deflection to the top?

Or if you really want a custom window follow this https://softplan.com...ndows-tutorial/ tutorial.

NOTE: Before anyone advises differently, at the time of writing the tutorial, Softplan couldn't add a deflection to multi-segmented windows.

Softplan has the ability to create a Custom Opening to virtually anything you can draw.

Thanks Keith. Rather not use a window, I'd like not to have a frame, just the finish wrapping the opening.

Sorry Richard, I think I'm missing something on what you are looking for? Can you explain in a little more detail what you want to do?

Essentially this, with the top angled to a point.

In that case, Just draw an angled arch and save it as a Arch. use the same methodology as creating a windows.

For some unknown reason my arches always end up as solids, Don't know why, and I can work round it, but have a look at this thread ... https://softplan.com...a-below-stairs/
