What are the steps to clip the exterior wall (see red dots) to create an interior wall with finishes.

Thanks

Probably best to make a wall with transitions that can slope for exterior finishes vs interior finishes on the exterior of the wall definition. It doesn't work great in the fact you will have to cut your wall up into segments if the slope of the roof does not cover the whole exterior of the wall. But, it is the best option most of the time. Another option is to create 2 walls in the same place. Hide one and show the other on the plan and then set your rakes and offsets for each to fit to where you want the exterior finishes and the interior finishes. Of course this will not model correctly for framing. Another option is to create a wall that is just the finishes and apply those to a framed wall with either no exterior finishes or just the drywall on the exterior (set as the interior finishes you want). Again, may not be totally accurate, but you can deal with offsets and rakes as needed with the siding. Cutting any doors or windows in gets ugly.
