I installed SP2024 and used (recommended) custom symbols and settings.

Only my custom walls installed and none of the SP clean install walls installed.

I assuming this followed through for other items.

How do I install or import the default walls, like if you did a clean install, without reinstalling SP?

I called SP to get help doing this since I've never been able to install and get my system settings to carry over.  I'll see if I can remember the process.

in your 2022 go to system options--->system options--->archive--->select everything you want to bring over then hit backup.  I selected everything when I did it so it would bring in my walls, symbols, settings, etc.

In your 2024 go to system options--->system options--->archive--->restore.

You can open a project that has all of your wall and save it as a Drawing Template, save it to System, then use that template on your new projects instead of the Default Template.

I got my custom setting installed fine, however non of the "clean Install" settings are there.

I am trying to Merge (install) the settings as if I did a clean install.

I don't think you can restore the default options with your custom install.

Backup 2022 and restore it to 2024.
